After being an owner-manager for 30 years, I have seen the value in having a strong and dynamic board also in owner-managed companies.
During 30 years as an owner manager, I have had many board compositions, ranging from family boards and to professional boards. The latter has worked best for me. Besides having had good and dynamic boards, I have also had the pleasure of using Advisory Boards for a shorter or longer time when I had specific tasks where they were a good solution.
After selling the company and working in the company as sales manager and sitting on the board 4 years after the sale sold I my last part of the company and have chosen to continue working with a focus on consultancy work and board work.
My interest in working with board work is rooted in a desire to participate actively in Danish business life and help make companies stronger.
